You can buy shiny or earn it though friend referral. You can use it to purchase workers, and speed up your upgrade and construction. As much as possible, try to conserve your shiny, just wait for your construction and upgrade to finish, that would is more convenient than speeding it up by using your shiny, and you also have your friends to help you and save hours of upgrade and construction.
4. Upgrade Your Buildings
Upgrading your Storage Silo, Twigs and Peebles, that would vital for the early game because it'll help you upgrade your Town Hall and unlock buildings and other defensive towers. My personal technique on attacking is cast the defensive monsters first, I take down all the defensive towers on that case, you can free attack EVERYTHING in the yard.
